Renee Zachary
Born November 7, 1955, maiden name Renee Satterfield. A twin to a boy, she learned at an early age the power and value of words. Given the gift of a vivid imagination, she is a daydreamer; her mother humorously called her Renee Scatterbrain. In grade school, she began writing poetry, which later led to writing lyrics to songs. In her young adult life, she ventured into writing a children’s book that she self-published, and now Meet Leon and Maggie Cobb is her debut novel. Author Renee Zachary says it is the first of many, adding that she loves the art of painting pictures with words and therefore will not limit herself to one genre.
