Brett Weatherman
Brett Weatherman was born with “a love of adventure” in 1966, in Missoula Montana. His poetry speaks of a longing for the West, adventure, and reflections on a decaying marriage and a troubled world. After travelling to Alaska three times, he told a friend, “If I go back a fourth time, I’m not coming back.” Upon his return to Montana, Brett attended the University of Montana, graduating with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education with High Honors. He next travelled to Canada where he met and married his wife of 27 years.
Now a single dad of three, Brett spends his time running a small business, writing poetry and searching for his next adventure. Most recently, he has obtained 2 U.S. patents for modular outdoor cloth.
This book is a testament of what it means to never give up. Currently, Brett is working on his second collection of poetry.
