Kattina T. Trosclair
Writing came naturally to Kattina T. Trosclair at the young age of seven. Life experiences helped her pen poetry, prose, and free verse as an avenue of release. She has used written words to express herself and the world around her since that time. Learning that writing was a key to freeing her inner self, she continued to write passionately. Over a decade, she collected 179 pages of writings on regular notebook paper, eventually putting them together to form Mirrored Images: Reflections of the Human Tribe.
Community work has always been a big part of Kattina’s life and she began writing for community magazines that promoted change. She was published in various magazines and two international poetry anthologies.
In 2013, she opened Creative Works of Louisiana, a business supporting creative works including writing, music, and art. She developed poetry readings, poetry slams and other events in her local area.
Kattina enjoys spending time with her family and friends and loving God and loving people.
