Tatiana Todorova
Tatiana Todorova was born in the Soviet Union and grew up in Odessa, the largest seaport on the Black Sea. She studied at the Odessa State Mechnikov University, Faculty of Romance and Germanic Philology, Department of English Language and Literature, second language – French. After graduating from Odessa University, she moved to St. Petersburg, where she continued to study the history of art, painting and architecture, the history of all the museums of St. Petersburg on courses for guides and interpreters, then worked as a guide and interpreter in all the museums of the city, conducted excursions in English in the Hermitage and other museums of St. Petersburg for English-speaking tourists and delegations. She spent four years studying for a master’s degree at the Theological Academy (non-denominational), studying the history of world religions and all subjects of theology, having written numerous essays on the topic of theology and the work of Martin Luther, Ulrich Zwingli and John Calvin. Her novel Prelude and Allegro was published in Russian in St. Petersburg and sold in a print run of 3,000 copies. She dedicated her life to her daughter, from five years old, teaching her the violin at the music schools of St. Petersburg. Her daughter Violetta Todorova then studied in America and became a soloist, concertmaster of the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and guest concertmaster of the Las Vegas Symphony Orchestra. The author lives in Chicago.
