Stephen U'Ren

Stephen U’Ren was raised in Arizona by two public school teachers, both of whom read whenever they had time and that was passed down to their four children. Mr. U’Ren attended Northern Arizona University and then he studied law at the University of Arizona. He first practiced legal aid in Juneau, Alaska and then Legal aid in El Mirage Arizona followed by a solo practice until retirement allowed more handball, multiple seasons as a volunteer ranger at Yellowstone National Park and hiking at Grand Canyon while writing in Arizona and Montana. Mr. U’Ren is married with two children and four grandchildren. He is working on a novel and a series of short stories. The Salt Shack Dweller is his first published book.
