Marietjie Stander was born in what was known as Rhodesia and educated in South Africa. She was married to a farmer for 53 years, and they lived in different parts of Zimbabwe. At present, Marietjie is living at a retirement complex where she is involved with the community. She loves writing stories and sharing them with people who could enjoy them.
