Rosario J. Pecorella was born on June 8th, 1948, in the ghettos of Brooklyn, New York. From an early age, he excelled in many sports, including swimming, diving, boxing, gymnastics, track and field, and archery. As an arm wrestler of 15 years, he was ranked third in the world. He wrote poetry during this sport as a relaxing hobby.
