Randy Sanders received a Ph.D. in American History from Louisiana State University, then went on to teach History at Southeastern Louisiana University for twenty years. Dr. Sanders has published a non-fiction book entitled Mighty Peculiar Elections: The New South Gubernatorial Campaigns of 1970 and the Changing Politics of Race with Louisiana State University Press, and several articles in historical journals in Georgia and Florida. Swan’s War is his first novel.
