Randy Sanders received a Ph.D. in American History from Louisiana State University, then went on to teach History at Southeastern Louisiana University for twenty years. Dr. Sanders has published a non-fiction book entitled Mighty Peculiar Elections: The New South Gubernatorial Campaigns of 1970 and the Changing Politics of Race with Louisiana State University Press, and several articles in historical journals in Georgia and Florida.
