Quentin Riser and Quinlan H. Riser
Quinlan Riser brings a wealth of experience from the financial services industry, having worked with Fortune 500® organizations. He is currently the vice president of insurance and wealth advisor at a firm based out of Dubuque, Iowa. He holds Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC®) and Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU®) designations from the American College of Financial Services. With dual bachelor’s degrees in accounting and economics from William Jewell College and an MBA from the University of Iowa, Quinlan is dedicated to promoting financial education and stability. He has been recognized as a thought leader in financial planning and has received honors, including the Des Moines Business Record 40 Under 40 and the Principal Global 250.
Quinlan lives in Des Moines, Iowa, where he serves on several boards focused on literacy and economic empowerment.
Dr. Quentin Riser is an assistant professor in Human Development and Family Studies at UW-Madison, specializing in how family characteristics and public policies affect children’s cognitive and social-emotional development. His research employs quantitative methods and secondary data to inform evidence-based policies and interventions. Quentin’s work focuses on linking early income instability to later academic and health outcomes, with the aim of enhancing family well-being. He holds a Ph.D. and is deeply invested in the intersection of financial literacy and family stability.
