Anne Petraro
Anne Petraro is a beautifully imperfect educator, Ph.D., licensed therapist, CEO, volunteer, and freelance artist who illustrated her son’s published work and somehow still finds time to eat snacks. She brings both clinical depth and real-life heart to everything she does. With a strong faith in God, a passion for healing, and a sense of humor about this whole being human thing, Anne writes like she lives; vulnerably, loudly, and with lots of dog hair on her clothes.
Therapized is her first book, part memoir, part healing guide, all heart. She lives in New York with her son Joseph (the actual best), her husband Ozzie, and their two dogs, one of whom is a rescue, and both of whom fully believe they run the house. She enjoys spending her time being Joe’s mom, creating art, and advocating for others so they can eventually find their voice, too.
