Pamela Jones was educated at King’s College (University of London). She has taught music and dance at The National Theatre School of Canada and Ballet Divertimento. Her biography of a Québec composer (alcides lanza: Portrait of a composer) was awarded the Québec Opus Prize for Livre de l’année, An 2007/08 (Book of the Year, 2007/08). She is the widow of the composer Robert Frederick Jones.
