Evelyn S. Monroe is a proud mom of four and a lifelong lover of fresh fruit currently residing in North Carolina. A first-time author, she brings her passion for healthy eating and cultural learning to Alphabet Fruit Around the World. Evelyn has worn many hats—from homeschooling her children (two by choice and one by surprise!) to co-owning a farmers’ market with her husband.

While working in the healthcare field as a trainer and educator, she is also earning her Master of Public Health degree at George Washington University. Evelyn’s favorite fruit bowl features honeydew melon, cantaloupe, golden kiwi, and blueberries—a colorful mix as vibrant as the children and fruits in her debut book.
