Mike Florio

Mike is a husband, father, and retired teacher after 20 years. He is married to wife Sunny, a teacher also, who has taught for nearly 50 years.  They enjoy international travel and spending time with family and friends. They have opened their home to international students from all over the world. It is their passion to share each other’s culture and to make friends with all they meet. Mike enjoys writing fictional children’s stories that send positive messages of respect, empathy, pride in one’s heritage, and strong self-identity.Mike’s favorite quote comes from William Butler Yeats: “There are no strangers, just friends you haven’t met yet.”
