Kellie Mickelsen

Kellie Mickelsen lives in the Northwoods of Wisconsin with her husband of over 31 years, Dan. They have three children and four grandchildren, ages 4 and under. She enjoys reading, writing, counted cross-stitch, kayaking, and fishing. Her love of reading was encouraged by her grandmother, and they shared their favorite books with each other. Her grandmother also wrote for their small-town local newspaper and shared stories from her youth. Kellie enjoyed writing stories when she was young and sharing them with her grandmother. She had always dreamed of writing a novel, and now she has written two of them and started a third! She’d like to think that her grandmother would be proud of her accomplishments.
