Mama Johanna

Mama Johanna raised three sons, and has been writing bedtime stories for her two grandsons for over ten years. She has become deeply fond of “boy humor” and will laugh with the best of them over farts, burps and fascinating adventures. She learned to enjoy reader-lead stories while working as founder and director for the Redwood Coast Writers’ Center in Eureka, CA. Her boys request specific elements and she integrates all of them into an engaging and personal story they look forward to week after week. Mama deeply values sustainability and promotes organic processes for all aspects of life. She is currently living life-as-art in a co-housing community in the state of WA.
