After a long career as an English teacher, followed by running a family business, Cheryl Mahon became an author during her retirement years. She lives with her husband in a peaceful location in the Blue Mountains, in New South Wales. Much to her delight, a very large wombat has taken up residence on her small farm, and shares the pasture with kangaroos, echidnas, and Cheryl’s horses.
