M. Martinez is the author of The Wickedly Beautiful, early chapter book series. Her previous works include, Roses in a Field of Corn, a western biography love story during the beginning stages of the cowboy culture. A Day for the Dead, a story about Halloween and Dia De Los Muertos. Her treat was combining two holidays with the same festive purpose for its tradition and sharing an optimistic story of friendship.The Wickedly Beautiful contains stories that tie together M. Martinez’s love for her ancestry, family, and passion for the creative imagination. As her series grows, so does her love for the many cultures, ethnicities, and traditions from different countries she learns of.M. Martinez hopes to inspire kids to enjoy reading and learn in their early age and to value their inner character.
