K. Leibold

K. Leibold lives in Cincinnati, Ohio with her husband, daughter, and dog, with family and friends nearby. Receiving the honor, joy and challenge of becoming a parent inspired her to reach out to the magical side of life. It takes a village, as caregivers know, and apparently, this village also needed a candy-eating dragon.

The author’s hope is that this book will be helpful and enjoyable in and beyond her village. Though the book implies the Christmas season, Shugart goes anywhere he is invited, and she is open to writing more books about Shugart.

K. Leibold has previously written Beesop’s Fables, a collection of fables for children ages 8-12, designed to keep interest and promote discussion, whether in the classroom or around a campfire.

K. Leibold has also written I LOVE YOU WHEN…, a heartfelt book about feelings for children and caregivers alike.
