Ruth Ann Kelley
Ruth Ann Kelley is an 83-year-old widow with a strong Christian faith. She is the mother of five grown children, two natural daughters, one adopted foster daughter, one daughter ‘mail-ordered’ from Korea, and a special needs son (who features in this book as Uncle Mark). She and her husband were foster parents to over 55 children, so she read a lot of children’s books over the years, and, after a while, she started making up her own stories to tell her children. People encouraged her to publish them, so here is Reuben Raccoon. She lives on the outskirts of a small village in Ohio, and enjoys feeding the birds and critters around their house in the countryside.
