When Julie Ives wrote her first novel, Welcome to Welby Island, she was inspired by her daughter’s The Breakfast Club T-shirt, and put pen to the paper as the story flowed from her imagination. After the publication of the first novel, she realized that there was more that her main characters had to say and do, so she began the sequel, Welcome to Welby Island: The Reunion, which will continue the readers’ journey with Leanne, Devon, Amber, Rosalie, and Leonard.Julie is married to Howie and mother to Maggie and resides in South Florida where they enjoy all things outdoors.
