Joy Ogawa was born and raised in Hilo, Hawai‘i. A graduate of Santa Clara University, she is currently a senior probation officer for the State of HawaiÊ»i. Hobbies include jogging, needlework, and paddling Hawaiian Outrigger Canoe for the LÅkahi Canoe Club in Honolulu, HI. This is her debut novel.
