Manoj Jain is the author of the award-winning children’s book Mahavira: The Hero of Nonviolence, illustrated by Demi.

Manoj is a well-respected physician and is widely published on both medical and faith-based topics. He is a frequent contributor to the Washington Post and USA Today-TN, and his work has appeared on NPR, CNN, and the New York Times.

Devoted to nonviolence, open-mindedness, and contentment, he founded the annual Gandhi-King Conference with Arun Gandhi, the grandson of Mahatma Gandhi.

Manoj is a fellow at Harvard University’s Advanced Leadership Initiative and he lives in Memphis and Boston with his wife, their children, and both sets of grandparents.
