Elizabeth Hope
Elizabeth Hope was born and raised in Southern Minnesota. She has always had a passion for singing and went to Luther College in Decorah, Iowa with a vocal scholarship. She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in English in 2002. She quickly became an army spouse and stay-at-home mom to two boys. She also treasures her role as a birth-mother and continues to have a close relationship with her daughter, to whom her first book, From Hope to Destinee: An Adoption Story, was dedicated.
After her life was touched by mental illness, as she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder, Elizabeth Hope completed the program in St. Paul, Minnesota and became a Certified Peer Support Specialist in 2019. She is determined to share her story in an effort to end the stigma and help others feel less alone.
