Michelle Halvorson was born and raised in a small community in North Dakota, which instilled family values and hard-working beliefs. As a child, Michelle loved the magic of a wish coming true. Taking her instilled values and still believing in that magic today, she shares it with readers. In raising her four boys, she witnessed their wishes for immediate items and future goals.
