George E. Schauf, M.A., M.D. is the author of the books Think, Eat and Lose Fat (Information Inc, 1970), and Think Thin (Fawcett 1976). He is the author of The QQF Theory for the Etiology of Obesity, published in the Journal of American Geriatrics Society in 1973. His paper, “The Caloric Theory Does Not Apply to Obesity,” was published in the Journal of the International Academy of Preventive Medicine in 1976, Dr. Schauf is a diplomate of the American Board of Family Practice and a diplomate of the American Board of Bariatric medicine.
