Edwin P. Dean
Edwin P. Dean, who should have retired long ago, continues to work as a consultant helping clients prepare proposals for federal government contracts. This follows a lengthy career mostly associated with Wall Street and corporate finance. He is a graduate of Yale. In other words, a highly conventional establishment career. However, he is also a rather accomplished watercolor painter and an enthusiastic skier and equestrian. Relatives are expecting him to break his neck at any time. Yale and his secondary school St. Paul Academy provided critical thinking and a love of books and learning which have followed him throughout a long life. Getting It Wrong is his first effort at a published work, but a work that has been germinating for many years and broadly expresses views and lessons learned over a long life that has exposed him to many regions, peoples and classes, often in conflict.
