Leonard Desroches was born in Penetanguishene on Georgian Bay, Ontario, Canada. For decades he has been living in Toronto, Ontario. He is a war resister and a resource person for the practice and spirituality of nonviolence. He is the author of Allow the Water-Anger, Fear, Power, Work, Sexuality, Community, and the Spirituality and Practice of Nonviolence. Leonard is presently offering retreats entitled, Sister Water, Brother Sultan-Exploring our Spiritual Lives with Francis of Assisi.
