Amy Strate

Amy Strate is a Canadian author from a small town in Saskatchewan. A licenced Practical Nurse for over a decade, she shifted careers in 2019 to pursue her passion to create, while joining the family farm full-time with her husband Scott. Bookkeeper, manager, equipment operator and chef are all roles Amy fills for the business which includes cattle, grains, oil seeds and pulses. From designing living spaces for family, to painting and macrame, it’s no surprise a children’s book was next! Amy and Scott have two children who share their passion for creativity, the outdoors, animal welfare and adventuring.
